Open identity exchange

Open Identity Exchange (OIX) is a non-profit organisation in which market leaders from various sectors join forces within secure networks. The objective of the OIX is to standardise, certify and further extend the commercial, legal and technical agreements that apply to each federation. Within Europe, the Netherlands is the front-runner with respect to federated authentication. We provide OIX information about the developments concerning DigiD, eHerkenning and eID.

The Organisation for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards is a non-profit consortium that promotes at a global level the development, convergence and adoption of e-business and web service standards. We support OASIS by making its expertise and experience available and by participating in working groups including the groups concerned with SAML and XACML.
